Luckily there are now amazing vegan cream cheese options on the store shelves that can actually hold a flame to the original dairy cream cheese. Miyoko’s Creamery and Kite Hill are my personal favorites! Both brands have made several flavors that are delicious on their own, but I love to mix it up by creating my own flavors with them….like wasabi cream cheese!
This wasabi cream cheese has a slight kick of wasabi. I love to add it to crackers or make a Japanese inspired version of carrot lox toast!
Vegan Wasabi Cream Cheese
Creamy Wasabi Cream Cheese with a spicy kick.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Vegan Cream Cheese I used Kite Hill Garden Veggie Cream Cheese
- 1 1/2 tsp Wasabi Paste Can use more or less depending on level of desired spice
- 1/2 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp soy sauce
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a bowl
- Stir until evenly distributed
- Serve on crackers, toast, or desired tasty vehicle
