How to cook radishes in the air fryer so they are perfect

When it comes to cooking radishes in the air fryer there are a couple of tricks to make your air fryer radishes absolutely perfect!

Perfect size for air fryer radishes

Size matters! When you cut your radishes for the air fryer, you do not want to make them too big. Why? You want to be able to cook the center so it is juicy and tender without burning the outsides. You can achieve this by cutting your radishes in quarters if they are smaller. If your radishes are bigger cut each radish into sixths or eighths. Trust me, this size will allow your air fryer radishes to cook evenly and perfectly.

Lightly Oil your air fryer radishes

Another important step when cooking air fryer radishes is to make sure they are properly covered in oil. For a bag of radishes you will need only one table spoon of oil to properly cover your radishes. Toss evenly and make sure the radishes are fully covered, this will allow your air fryer radishes to remain nice and moist, without the oil the outside of your radishes will become a bit dry.

Mix air fryer radishes while they are cooking

To evenly cook your air fryer radishes, you always want to mix them at the half way point. Doing so will allow the radishes to cook evenly. Mixing them once at the half way mark will do the trick, but feel free to mix them 3 or 4 times if you wish.

Spread air fryer radishes into an even layer

If you have a small air fryer, piling in your ingredients might be very tempting, but don’t do this! When cooking air fryer radishes make sure you have them in an even layer across the bottom of the air fryer. Piling them will cause them to cook unevenly and you will not brown the outer layer as nicely. If you have a small air fryer, you may need to air fry your radishes in several batches.
