How to cook garlic miso radishes in the air fryer
Fresh radishes, air fried to perfection, tossed in a garlic miso rub, and topped with scallions and sesame seeds.

- 1 12 oz bag of fresh radishes
- 1 tbsp neutral oil oil with a high smoke point, such as avocado oil, canola oil, or sesame oil, is best for air frying
Garlic Miso Rub
- 1 tbsp miso paste I used white miso paste, but any will work
- 2 cloves of garlic, chopped
- 1 tsp toasted sesame oil
- 1 tsp neutral oil

- 2 tbsp chopped scallions
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
Prep and Air Fry the Radishes
Begin by cutting the radishes. To do this, cut off both ends of the radishes, then cut eat radish into quarters
Place cut radishes in a bowl and add 1 tbsp of oil. Mix until evenly covered
Place radishes in the air fryer. Make sure they are places in a single layer across the bottom, you don't want to overlap or stack them. Air fry the radishes for 12 minutes at 400 degrees, stir radishes at the half way mark. **air fryer should be preheated
**While the radishes are air frying, move ahead and prep the garlic miso rub
Make the Garlic Miso Rub
In a small bowl combine miso paste, toasted sesame oil, neutral oil, and chopped garlic cloves. Mix until evenly combined. Set aside
Combine the radishes and the garlic miso rub
When radishes have finished cooking for 12 minutes, remove them from the air fryer and place them in a bowl
Top the air fried radishes with the garlic miso rub and mix until evenly coated
Return the radishes to the air fryer and air fry for 3 more minutes at 400 degrees or until outside is slightly browned and inside is tender and juicy
Remove from air fryer, top with chopped scallions and sesame seeds
