Air fried beyond burgers : vegan stuffed Big Mac sliders
These air fried beyond burgers are perfect when you want to keep things plant-based but are craving a burger...more specifically a Big Mac. This recipe consists of air fried beyond burgers, seasoned to perfection and stuffed with gooey, melty vegan cheese...topped with pickles, shredded lettuce, and a white bean Big Mac sauce...served on slider-sized buns, making these the perfect finger food to serve at your next party...or any day of the week!

For beyond meat burgers
- 1 lb Beyond Meat Ground Beef, defrosted
- 2 cloves of garlic, chopped small
- 1/4 cup white onion, diced small
- 2 tbsp ketchup
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1/4 tsp paprika
- 4 slices vegan American sliced cheese I used Violife's American Sandwich slices
For white bean Big Mac sauce
- 1/2 can cannellini beans, rinsed and drained can substitute any white bean or chickpeas
- 1 1/2 tbsp ketchup
- 2 tsp dijon mustard can substitute any mustard
- 1 tbsp pickle juice
- 1/2 tbsp sweet relish
- 1/2 tsp apple cider vinegar
- 1/8 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 1/8 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp white sugar
- 2 tbsp water
Toppings
- 8 slider-sized buns
- 1/4 cup lettuce, shredded
- 2 mini dill pickles, sliced
Prepare your Beyond Meat burgers
Preheat air fryer to 375 degrees F
Cut each slice of vegan American cheese slices into fourths. Set asideYou will have 16 cut cheese squares, two per slider In a mixing bowl, combine everything listed under "beyond meat burgers", except for the vegan cheese. Don't use the vegan cheese yet!
Mix with fork until evenly combined
Divide the mix into 8 portions
Take 1/2 of a portion and form a slider-sized burger patty. Place two small slices of the cut vegan American cheese on top of the patty. Take the other half of the portion and place it on top of the cheese. Using your hands, form the slider around the cheese until it makes a nicely shaped, stuffed slider.
Repeat process for the other 7 sliders
Once burgers have been formed, it's time to air fry them
Air Fry your Beyond Meat Burgers
Once the air fryer has been preheating for at least 5 minutes, spray the bottom of the air fryer basket with non-stick oil or line with parchment paper for easy clean up.
Place beyond burgers in air fryer basket in a single layer (do not overlap). If you have a small air fryer you may need to air fry your beyond burgers in batches.
Air fry beyond burgers at 375 degrees for 5 minutes. At the 5 minute mark, flip your burgers over to allow them to evenly cook.
Air fry for another 5 minutes. Burgers will be done when internal temperature has reached 165 degree.(if you don't have a thermometer, check the inside of one of the burgers, they should be firm and textures, not soft and squishy. It is normal for burgers to have a slightly pink or red color when finished cooking) When beyond burgers have finished cooking, remove from basket
**While burgers are cooking, move ahead and prepare the white bean buffalo spread and toppings
Prepare the white bean Big Mac sauce
Place all of the ingredients listed under "white bean Big Mac sauce" in a high speed blender
Blend until smooth. Set aside
Chop the Lettuce and slice your pickles. Set aside
Put it all together
Once beyond burgers have finished cooking and white bean Big Mac sauce has been made, it's time to put it all together!
Spread the white bean Big Mac sauce on each slider-sized bun. Top with stuffed beyond burgers. Top with lettuce and pickles
Serve and enjoy!
