- sea salt to taste
For Spicy Gochujang Dip

- 2 tbsp vegan mayo
- 1/2 tsp toasted sesame oil
- 1 tsp rice vinegar
- 1 tsp agave
- 1/8 tsp Chinese five spice
Prep and cook the air fryer Japanese sweet potato fries
Begin by washing and slicing your Japanese sweet potato. Cut them into sliced fries, about 1/4 inch thick
Place your Japanese sweet potatoes in a bowl and toss with 2 tablespoon of avocado oil and a pinch of sea salt
Place your Japanese sweet potato fries in a preheated air fryer and cook for 15 minutes at 400 degrees. Flip your Japanese sweet potato fries at the half way mark. **Do not overlap your fries, make sure they are placed in a single layer across the bottom. If you have a small air fryer you will need to cook these in batches Your air fryer Japanese sweet potato fries will be ready when the outside is crispy and darker and the inside is soft and tender. If you cut your Japanese sweet potato fries thicker, you will need to adjust the time to closer to 20 minutes.
**While the Japanese sweet potato fries are cooking in the air fryer, move ahead to prepare the Gochujang dip.
