Black Licorice Dessert Smoothie
This black licorice dessert smoothie is the flavor combination you didn’t know you were missing! Made with dark cherries, cocoa powder, and anise to recreate that black licorice flavor and blended with a base of frozen bananas, oats, dates, hemp hearts, and oat milk. Finished with a hint of vanilla and sea salt.

- 6 oz Oat Milk I used Oat-ly Full Fat Oat Milk
- 1/2 cup cherries, frozen
- 1 banana, peeled and frozen
- 2 dates pitted
- 1/4 cup oatmeal I used old fashioned oats
- 1 tbsp hemp seed
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1/4 tsp anise extract
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- a pinch of sea salt
- 6 ice cubes
- vegan whipped cream optional
Place all of the ingredients in a blender, except for the vegan whipped cream
Blend until smooth. Should take about 30 seconds, depending on power of the blender
Pour into a glass, top with vegan whipped cream, enjoy!!
