Vegan Pesto Recipe with Walnuts
Vegan pesto recipe with walnuts, made with fresh basil, garlic, walnuts, vegan parmesan, olive oil, lemon juice, sea salt, and fresh ground pepper. With just a few simple ingredients and less then 10 minutes of your time, you can create a crowd pleasing, flavor bomb of a pesto that can be used in endless ways!

- 2 cups fresh basil
- 1/2 cup vegan parmesan I used Follow Your Hear shredded parmesan
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/3 cup walnuts
- 2 cloves of fresh garlic
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- 1/8 tsp fresh ground pepper
- 1 lemon, juiced
Place walnuts in boil water for 5 minutes. Drain. **This will make the walnuts less bitter Combine all of the ingredients in a food processor or blender
Blend until semi-smooth or smooth, depending on preference
Serve over pasta, as a dip with bread, on tomatoes...sky is the limit!
